Interesting to see they've focused quite a lot of time on the classic content and it will be interesting to see if they've fixed a lot of key issues which have rendered the game broke. Shame it only goes back to the 80's, would have loved to try out the Tyrrell P34

Ten minutes + from IntoTheBarrier.
Lots of footage of the classic cars from the 80s and 90s, around Jerez.

Intothebarrier is a lucky guy to have the opportunity to play the game but I guess it benefits all of us. The fact that this isn't on next gen. is a bonus so there's still a reason to play the PS3 and supports my idea for the earliest time to get a next gen. console is at Christmas.
I'm sure I heard Murray Walker in one of the classical trailers but I hope they haven't used his voice to build up the hype but how amazing would it be competing in an vintage league on wheel2wheel whilst you listen to Murray Walker and James Hunt commentate whilst you drive.
Will be interesting to see how the damage system has changed so it's not done in stages and you have proper suspension damage, instead of: end plate, wing, nose.

Yeah Murray Walker was in the classic cars trailer, through I'm pretty sure it was an old soundbite rather than him recording something for it. Though I hope they get him onboard to do proper commentary, that would be amazing.
As long as they make the penalties system work, I'll be happy. Oh and lag bubble.

I think Capt_Crankshaft would love it if Jonathan Legard did some recording for F1 2013 I would fully hope Murray did something but codies have always said no to in game commentary but you always hope there is, like when you check your fridge and come back 10 mins latter hoping something has changed.

Ha, yeah. The commentary in F1CE was alright. At least I think it was F1CE, might have been an rFactor mod or something. As long as it doesn't repeat the same endless few lines over and over it's usually fine. Doubt it'll get added though.
Re: F1 2013 Videos
Yeah they focus it on being "the driver" but the engineer is just not how an engineer should be, it needs to be constantly talking over each laps and they need to be repeating themselves because of the engines. Just gets boring and repetitive at the moment.

Re: F1 2013 Videos
Right I'm going to be honest up to a few weeks ago I was not even considering this years edition as thus far I have been unimpressed with CodeMasters editions of F1. 2010 was decent for a first attempt even though it lacked a hell of a lot in my opinion. 2011 I didn't even purchase or play for that matter as it looked to me no significant improvements had been made and wow did those graphics look bad on the ps3! 2012, in my opinion is CodeMasters best attempt at the sport but I still think they could do a much better job. Handling felt better to me than '10, but still feels way too arcadey for my liking. Would definitely prefer more of a sim approach. Career mode was shockingly crap, I mean raining virtually every race weekend (I think they took this whole climate change situation too literally lol) and don't even get me started on removing championship mode in order to introduce pointless things such as YDT and that season challenge thing.
So was just wondering will you all be definitely purchasing 2013? Yes, legends mode looks quite appealing and continuing to race in this league are the plus points but if they don't fix the bugs, handling, setups, weather and career mode and are still like 2012 then I sadly may give it a miss. CodeMasters should have a look at Moto GP 13, as Milestone have appeared to do a fantastic job on it. It is without doubt the most realistic bike game to date, setups have a genuine purpose as it affects handling characteristics enabling you to communicate properly with your engineer assisting you with the setup. Career in general looks much better than what we have on F1, working your way up through the categories to the premier class with more detailed news articles, use of in game twitter, which adds a unique fun element and a full helmet editor. They've also implemented a cool helmet cam, providing you with a view of what the riders really see. Just don't understand why CodeMasters can't take this route? I think it would make the game so much more fun!
Anyway, rant over haha and still very much undecided if I will get this years edition or not.
