Thrustmaster T300 RS
I've read the reviews etc, some good, some bad, i like the idea that it can still be used on PS3 F1 games & PS4 but has anyone actually used 1 of these wheels, the old DFGT finally gave up last night, a clamp here & there might be a quick fix but i'm gonna need another wheel for PS4 eventually, so if you've used 1, how is it?

Re: Thrustmaster T300 RS
I've had a quick go on the 500 before. Build quality is generally considered to be a lot higher than the DFGT. It's got brushless motors for the FFB so it's nice and smooth and proper paddle shifters rather than tiny buttons like the DFGT. It's got 280 degrees more rotation than the DFGT too (1080 vs 900)
Pedals are far better too, metal and have some weight to them. Pretty sure they don't have a clutch on the 300 but the 500 does and you can use those ones it if it took your fancy. Wheel face is detatachable too so you can use the Ferrari addon too
They're not Fanatec level of good, but they're probably the best you're going to get without spending a grand+.
Honestly if money hadn't of been an issue in the first place, I would have gone for a 500RS hands down over the DFGT. The 300 seems to sitting in the middle ground quite well.
Skip to 35s for the actual review and not some ISR crap. Inside Sim Racing tend to be pretty spot on with reviews and stuff though.

Re: Thrustmaster T300 RS
It looks the deal like for £250, read some horror stories about brake efficiency levels & having to plug the wheel into laptop & use TM's softwear to sort it out, another guy opened the pedals up & moved the gearing inside by a tooth or two & it worked instantly but i could do without the hassle on a brand new wheel, just have to hope it was a dodgy batch

Re: Thrustmaster T300 RS
The whole plugging it into a laptop thing should only be for PC game tweaking, the DFGT is exactly the same in that manner.
