Anyone looking forward for Gran Turismo 6?

Post by Guest on Fri Aug 02, 2013 3:10 pm

I personally can't wait for GT6 and just wondering if any of you are looking forward towards it's release at the end of the year?

This years GT Academy used the GT6 engine, my goodness do the cars feel more realistic compared to GT5!

You think so?

the behaviour of the cars and weight transfer via accelerating/decelerating and through corners feel so much better than 5.

Play one straight after the other, and trust me you'll notice the difference. The way you can chuck the car in GT5 is simply unrealistic and too forgiving. Drive like that on the GT Academy demo and you'll be facing backwards into a hedge.

I often go to track days so believe me on that Wink Don't get me wrong it still isn't perfect (still not finished) but it's the closest thing we've had to the PC sims so far Smile

Yea PCars looks good. However, I've got a feeling it's going to be arcadey simply because it's the same people that made Need For Speed Shift 2. If it does turn out being an arcade racer, I won't get it.

its not like a full sim like gt6, but its sim enough, better than the current F1 games.

Hi Whiteside111, 5 didn't live up to the hype but it certainly wasn't bad. Best racing game this generation on the console. I do agree that 4 was epic though Very Happy

I totally agree Liam. Within it's life cycle it kept on getting better, that's for sure.

The problem I find with Gran Turismo is you always end up repeating races to earn more money so you can get a better car.
