Saints On The Up

Post by Tifosi_S_Vettel on Sun Aug 18, 2013 10:24 pm

Southampton just signed Pablo Daniel Osvaldo from AS Roma for 15m

personally i think this is a great coup for southampton since pochettino took over southampton have looked very impressive they've already signed victor wanyama for 12.5m and dejan lovren for 8.5m and i think a top 10 finish for the saints is realistic.

What are you thoughts on this?

I think it's one of the most surprising developments of the summer, just a matter of how they can adapt to English football.

Competely agree Ross.. i know he's the manager and he doesn't want to mis-communicate something to his players (Capello) but Paulinho has been here for just under a couple of months and i was surprised by how well he spoke English, but those three new boys plus the amount of talent in the youth ranks and the first team.. i can see them challenging a Europa League group position either this year or next.

As an Italian I'm dissapointed that he has left a brilliant project at Roma to join the saints, really goes to prove money does talk. In my honest opinion I believe Prandelli will no longer call him up for the national side, should have stayed in Serie A and I'm saying that as a Juventino.

Yeah I agree, I think if you're a neutral Serie A fan, AS Roma is one of the most beautiful clubs that exists, I found anyway, also worldwide not just Italian neutral fan.
