Rule changes
Starting in Australia (S13) attendance is now being tracked in the form of a percentage. It will be visible on the standings spreadsheet.
Car picks up to this point have run in championship order, with no driver being able to pick the same car for two seasons running. This will change for S14. Car picks will work as follows:
Championship leader gets priority, subsequent picks are in order of attendance, from highest to lowest. Any driver with 100% attendance is permitted to pick the same car as the previous season, though pick order will still take priority and as such, 100% attendance will not guarantee it. In the event of an attendance tie, championship position will be used to determine the pick order.
Any driver that is deemed to have deliberately DNF'd or rage quit, will receive a 5% penalty to attendance.
If a driver informs a moderator up to 12 hours before the race of their inability to attend, then no attendance penalty will incur.
Should a driver be promoted/demoted from one split to another, then their attendance from the previous split will be used for the purpose of car pick order.
