Having noticed a lack of race recording in AL2 I've been considering recording my races. Unfortunately I can't justify the money for a decent capture card (just MOT'd and insured the car - not cheap!!!!) so I've tried with my webcam and come up with below. I know the pictures a bit poor and the gain on the mic is rubbish so there is very little sound.

Please feel free to comment as I would greatly appreciate your opinions.

Have u got any apple devices because they tend to be alright at recording things , I use my iphone but I don't know how to upload the clips to the website Sad

Forget that video above. It's shite. I didn't think my phone would have enough memory to do it but it turns out I can record up to 4 1/2 hours of video currently so I gave it a bash and came up with this.

I record my races on my Samsung S3 Mini, i could record upto HD 720p but uploading would take too long as my upload is between .3 - .6 kbs, so i always prefer to record at 480p (files 1/3 the size of 720p) & in my opinion the resolution for showing just incidents & footage doesnt need to be any higher as the quality is very clear & sharp.

Well that's done on a Samsung Galaxy Ace and I think that should be useable. I'll give it a go at Singapore and see what we get
