Driver Removed

Unfortunately, today as seen the removal of Gav25182, for various reasons.

It all started at the Hungarian GP when his driving was appealed against and the FIA deemed it worthy to give him a 3 point deduction and a reprimand. Gav couldn't accept this and tried blackmailing me personally on PM, he said to me if I didn't rescind his penalties he would leave the site thus I said he could appeal his penalty in which he did.

He was to have his own special FIA hearing but after 2 weeks the FIA finally met and decided to put the incident to bed, bearing in mind the majority of the FIA members in the second hearing was not in the first and the exact same conclusion was found in the second FiA meeting.

The following morning Gav found out and once again threw all his toys out of the pram and threatened to leave, after a 3 hour discussion in which Gav seemed to only read parts he wanted to and repeatedly kept saying "push the button" we was unable to prevent him for leaving.

I am saddened that one of our most active and promising users has had to act this silly over a soft penalty furthermore his language to me and Liam after the first FIA decision was unacceptable as was in the three hour conversation we had when he said he had never had any respect for his moderator... me.

Despite his foolish and childish behavior I wish him all the best in life, you will be missed on the site.

i really liked Gav I thought he was a top bloke, I just think it was sheer anger that has made him react like this. I'm not defending his reactions at all, as it is a bit silly on his part, but I must say I thought the penalty in Hungary was harsh.

I can only hope he spends a little time reflecting about his actions and apologises to you Bolokov and Liam for the aggression, because one thing is for sure the league will be a worse place without Gav competing :/

I agree ferrari mania, gav was a top bloke, but he didn't really give us any option - his attitude was "I get the pen I leave". We stayed up til 3am on his appeal of the decision, then we tried as much as we could in for 3 hours in the chatbox, but he wouldn't listen to reason. Sadly, when the FiA has made a decision with the best intentions to fairness, what kind of league would we be if we back down to his demands - he would of played the same card everytime and threatened to quit.
Gav will be a big loss to PL as he was a very loyal member.

Gav will return, mark my words.
