AL3 :- From the Cockpit - Round 7 - Canada
Now it's taken a week for me to write this but ya know... I know that Ross is more efficient but what can you do.
So the Canadian Grand Prix. Once again, I qualified on pole position in wet conditions in quali. Now this is going to be short but oh well, you'll have to live with it.
The race began and there was an immediate problem. Richy was lagging worse than on the EA servers...From my footage, it wasn't exactly pleasant. Either he was downloading illegal software or his internet connection is worse than Whiteside's or Moody's... Hard to beat...
So into the race and, not surprisingly, the WOC claimed it's first victim in Kla6su. Safety car came out and Richy pitted to fix his connection. This now meant I lead the race and by a miracle, it was a Merc 1-2.... Racing was underway and it wasn't long until Jay ploughed his Mclaren into the wall. Then pretty much nothing happened until around lap 38 when the rain was coming. I had to pit for super softs prior to the rain but it shaped the race up nicely and we went onto full wets. Around lap 59 came and Tom's crashed into the WOC causing the 3rd safety car. This allowed drivers to switch to inters.
The track was drying and it was a sprint for me and Richy. He managed to beat me and fair play as he did deserve it. I came 2nd which was not a bad result. Marc finished in 4th.
Awards :
DOTD : Toms.. For completing more than 50% race distance
Wall of Champions' Victims : Tom's, Jay, Kla6su
Not writing much award : Myself
A good race folks, see you in Britain, (just happend but oh well)
