Race Report:
Quite frightening how far off the pace I am (even for a pad user).
Qualifying was clean enough, if not particularly fast, car never felt great. Track didn't feel quite as slippery as Monaco but still Shit. 6th.
Made a great start, but went a little too deep in to Turn 1, salvaging 5th, and keeping watching brief on crank, RWE and james battle. Settled in, getting quite close to James, even having an optimistic attempt at the hairpin. Made a small error, a the drs was broke. From there I pitted on Laps 10, 25, 40 and 55, running 4 prime stints. I couldn't keep the tyres very well. The gap to James came down a little in stint 2, a lot in stint 3, but when he came out on Options with 15 laps to go, I didn't really have a chance. He must have been watching me because all of the stints bar one he covered me a lap after my own stops. On pace I think I could have got near him, but I kept making little mistakes whereas he didn't. Behind me, Ferrari mania kept the gap honest, and at 1 point, with our stops out of sync, we had a good battle. I did run 4th at one point, about to pit, but RWE (quick just after his stop) touched me in to a wall. No harm in the end fortunately.
Yeah, nothing much to report. Held 5th virtually all race. Really need to test a bit more, not getting enough out of the Brakes or tyres I think.
In terms of incident, it was really good, no major incidents and fair play all round.

Likewise Gav, can't seem to keep up when I'm pushing like crazy just don't get it. This is why I'm starting to think Generic setups might be better, as I'm sure it's the setups making such a huge gap. In terms of you using a pad, in theory on 2012 it makes you quicker as Codemasters aimed the game towards pad users. I was quicker on the pad compare to my wheel which I got only 2 months ago.
Race was pretty bad for me as the only driver I saw the entire race was Gav. We had a good little battle at one point which was very clean. Other than that it was awful as the balance of the car felt dreadful.

We'd make a good team FM, always seem to be on the same peice of track and on the same pace

Re: Canada GP Results
haha would be a good team battle. You are right, our pace over the duration of the race tends to be very similar give or take a mistake or two.
The battle we had at the start and especially the middle was the highlight of the race for me Good overtake at turn 3 by the way!

I'm a fellow pad user also, it's hard to keep up with people using a wheel, although I had a few good battle's but other than that, was hard to keep up with the front runner's
