For those who aren't getting F1 for PS3 because they're on next gen Project Cars is coming out in november and there's a lot of hype about this game so maybe an option for you guys probably a route I'll go down as I don't think I'm going to waste my money on the new game.

I've been following it for a couple of years now, it's looking very promising.

I really wish I had contributed to development early on when it was possible to do so, could have been playing weekly builds now :/

To be fair, my PC will probably struggle with it until I upgrade my graphics card, given what the estimated requirements are like, unless it's incredibly well optimized. So I'll probably be getting the PS4 version first too.

What wheel do you have? As far as I'm aware, the DFGT (most common PS3 wheel) is supported. Better be anyway, I'm not buying a 3rd wheel >_>

Sad the next best wheel is the thrustmaster t300 rs which is compatible with ps4 but it costs £360

Fuck that. I'm not paying more for a wheel than I would be for the console. I can buy a decent graphics card for that and play it at a higher framerate and resolution as well use my existing wheel.

There's talk of a Project Cars wheel bundle coming out though, so that might be something that needs looking into.

I'm definetly not playing Project Cars or 2015 with a pad though, I'm too far gone in the wheel camp now.

Pcars is good, my pc just about manages it, but its not very optimized for controller as of yet. obviously by the time it comes out on ps4 it should be, game looks amazing on both.

I definetly won't be using a controller , it will just ruin the experience. The thrustmaster t300 is supported on pa4 but I can't find anywhere that sells it Sad

So much want. Definetly going to have to invest in a TrackIR or Oculus Rift at some point for this. The AI looks so good.

Bad news on this front it appears guys. It looks like this has now been delayed until March 2015. No official announcement has been made yet but it appears those who funded the game have been informed by the developers Slightly Mad before public confirmation. It seems that the reason for the delay is that they needed more time to polish the game and were reluctant to release in the highly competitive November window.
