Alonso to Mclaren Empty Alonso to Mclaren

It's almost 100% confirmed Alonso will be at Mclaren after Luca Di Montezemolo confirmed he's leaving the team and with Alonso already stating he won't be going to a Mercedes engine based team.

Where does this leave Button? He's out performed K-Mag this year, but K-Mag is the future and I personally think it's highly unlikely Mclaren will pair 2 ageing drivers Together so I think it will be Alonso & K-Mag and Button retiring from the sport.

I reckon Button will be out, unfortunately. Which is a shame, because Kmag as good as he is, just isn't scoring any points.

Assuming the Honda engine isn't a total dog, which it shouldn't be given the year they've had to observe Mercedes etc, then McLaren could be in a good position next year.

After two shitty years with them finishing way down in the constructors, a pair like Button and Alonso who both consistantly score points could really help McLaren in the long run. A higher overall constructors finish in 2015 so plenty more money for 2016 when they'll have a real shot of winning some stuff.

As for where Button will go though, I don't know. Lotus maybe? Or Force India if Hulk doesn't get the drive again (which is rumoured to be the way things are going.)
