GT Sprint Series: Rules and Race Format
Format
Races will take place at xx:xx on xday, every week for 10 weeks.
the format for each round will be as follows.
7:30pm Lobby opens
7:45pm 15 minute qualifying starts, 30 minutes for Le Mans and Nordschleife rounds.
8:00pm 5 minute warmup session, this is to act as the break before the race and as such drivers aren't obligated to leave the garage.
8:05pm 30 minute/1 hour race will start.
Rules
Standard racing rules apply. Don't block on qualifying laps, one move to defend, Max Verstappen rule (erratic movement under braking is prohibited.) Etc etc. Contact is not expressly prohibited in GT3 racing, however please use common sense. If a move is deemed to be too aggressive and causes damage then an appeal is fully justified.
We will continue to use the same appeals procedure as F1, no footage, no appeal etc. Fortunately, PCars enables the saving of replays that allow cycling through cars, so this shouldn't be an issue.
Weather will be set to random.
Assists
Traction control, stability management and ABS are all allowed and can be used at driver discretion.
Points
Points will be allocated as follows for every race.
1st: 25
2nd: 20
3rd: 18
4th: 16

Re: GT Sprint Series: Rules and Race Format
As I mentioned on the PS chat, will double points be awarded for the Le Mans and Nordschleife rounds?
