Rule Changes
Damage will be returning to full rather than simulation in the absence of a working safety. This will be reviewed periodically throughout the season.
Due to excessive corner cutting and track extending by some drivers a new system will be implemented for season 10. The first four corner cutting penalties a driver receives, will be dealt with as normal. Every additional penalty after that will result in the driver being demoted by one position per penalty at the end of the race. This will be reviewed periodically through the season.
If a driver jumps the start, they are to relinquish their positions as safely and quickly as possible. Drive through penalties must be served at the end of lap 1.
Reserve drivers will now receive constructors points for races attended. No driver points will be awarded, however drivers finishing below the reserve will not have their positions altered. Any incidents involving reserve drivers will be treated as normal with appeals and penalties.
Once the race starts there will be no restarts for disconnections. Any disconnects during the 5 minute break or formation lap can request a restart as normal with a one shot qualifying session and random weather.
