Appealing this 'in game' penalty, cost me a podium & dropped me to 10th place.

I had exactly the same 10 second penalty last season for the same type of spin, and exceeded track limits.
The game gives you the 10 second penalty because of the distance travelled off track after stopping.

I just simulated the same manoeuvre in a test race and ended up with the same 10 second penalty.

We have never done appeals for test races, they are generally there to determine the stability of the game, as they're predominantly on a new game unless we have an influx of new drivers. If you got one at the actual Bahrain race in the season, you never appealed it. Had you done so, it would have been looked at, and a reasonable chance of it being removed.

A little confusion it was not a W2W test race I was referring to, it was my own test to show my interpretation of one of our drivers receiving a game penalty for exceeding track limits.
I presume drivers will receive a 10 second penalty if they do not return to track in a timely manor.
