Grid team talks with Herbert & Hill (McLaren)

Herbert & Hill sat down with the McLaren driver to get an insight & a mid season review behind the wheel for AL2 racers.

We asked him:

How do you feel your season is going so far?

Tallboy_rocks:
Not to bad. when I started I was afraid that I would be stone dead last but I've found I can be really competitive when I get it right. It's a solid base to build on.

What is your objectives for the rest of the season?

Tallboy_rocks:
Race clean, have fun and try and get a mistake free race in. On the rare occasion when I have I end up finishing really well.

What is your best/worst moment of the season so far?

Tallboy_rocks:
Best: Overtaking benappleby coming out of Ascari on the final lap of Monza to claim my first W2WR podium.
Worst: Any time I spanner myself into the barrier and lose my front wing which seems to happen at least once a race, or 3 in the case of Singapore.

Where do you see yourself next season?

Tallboy_rocks:
On a track, racing a car against other drivers. I really haven't thought that far ahead.

As a solo driver for the team, it must feel frustrating not being able to compete for the constructors championship. do you think a move to another team where a seat is available would be beneficial to you, or do you think you can carry the team by yourself?

Tallboy_rocks:
I have a teammate again, he's just yet to make his bow and apparently he is lightening quick. Maybe it's enough to piss in the pots of the Ferrari's and Force India's?
