After going over the footage again I thought I may have a case with his one. I've put footage below of the incident with S007PS (reserve in is race). nothing malicious but I think he turned in on which given the conditions was always going to end up in disaster. I've also put a picture of the race result ( don't know why it's coming up up side down - turn your heads!) showing I finished less than 20 seconds behind him. Given that this nearly put me a lap down on the test of the field Im thinking a 20 second penalty and a swapping of positions would sort this one out?

thing is though, Ben, the track is turning right there and you had about 78969750 yards of track on your right that were available!

Ahh a mass debate! True, however, given the conditions I was only making small steering adjustments, keeping the car relatively straight round the corner, which meant I was never going to pulling into the 645893207 yards of space on the right. The other car had plenty of space on the left, and if you look at the point of impact, it's caused by a sharper turn to the right by the other car, cutting across the edge of my wing sending us spinning off.

It was an Extremely unfortunate incident ben & i sympathise with your disappointment, however sad to say i have to disagree with your statement. I felt I was slighty ahead AND on the correct side of the track at the time & it appears u were creeping towards the left side hence your front left impacting the right side of my car sending us both into an unavoidable spin Crying or Very sad 

i have footage which i shall post soon to show my side of the incident. Either way im sure the FIA will look into it & decide a fair outcome.

You cant make out the contact but you can make out both drivers positions & how much space they both had.

Lol a very displomatic response S007PS. In light of the damning feedback and that fact that this was a bit of a punt to try and get 2 more points, I'd like to withdraw my appeal (interesting debate though!) unless S007PS wants to keep it in at his end. On reflection it was probably me who could have done more to avoid it - I shall be more careful in future kind stewards. Apologies to  S007PS.

I would however like to appeal the fact that after the race S007PS came and punched me in the head over the incident in rage. I think a 20 second penalty and a swapping of positions would sort his one too Very Happy

well i am a diplomatic guy ben...... thats why i attacked u after the race LOL, nah seriously Apology accepted & now we can move on from this incident just use this as a precaution & reminder to everyone to remember to take it easy on the first lap especially in the wet.
