Russian Grand Prix

Ok, i stopped my recording Sec 3 Lap 50 because after watching most of you DSC i didn't want to lose what i had re positions etc, obviously PSN had another crash  maintenance planned, think Neil was on lap 50 or 51 so more than 90% finished but i'll check my recording & post up the lap drivers DSC'd on & what position they were in if i can( if i get it wrong, just say) the result will probably stand but from what point i don't know 'till i speak to The Chief.

Up to DSC point, Neiler, Tallboy & Briz were flying, might've caught Briz who had a bucket load of pens (his words ) but we'll never know cos the RD took off sharpish like waving £20 in the air....Brizly

I'm pretty sure I was the first one to go on lap 46. Gotta love the circle jerking teenagers that took PSN down because they have nothing better to do with their time.

Say if the results don't stand, would it be another 100% race or 1 shot qualifying 25% race or would we just have no race points from Russia & move onto the next track ?

Same happened to me should do a re run,was in 6th when I got signed out

I Saved my Recording up to Lap 50 Sector 2, then re started it, Brizly & myself ran on a bit longer but that part of the recording is lost from PS4 when you DSC so positions below are only the way i seen it up to my DSC point, it may not be the final Result though.

Tallboy.                  dsc'd on Lap 46  (in 2nd but Ai would still be 4th by lap 50)
SnoopMarky.           dsc'd on Lap 46  (in 6th but Ai would be 7th by lap 50)
Trond.                    dcd'd on Lap 47  (in 5th & Ai would still be 5th by lap 50)
CHM.                      dsc'd on his Lap 47, Lap 48 for me, prob. would've been 6th.  
Neiler.                 dsc'd on his Lap 50, Sec 1/Sec 2, Lap 49 on my screen,approx 1min ahead (in 1st, Ai stayed in 1st)
Dastardly.               dsc'd on Lap 50 end of Sec 2. ( in 3rd, Neilers Ai was still on )
Brizly.                    dsc'd on Lap 50 ( in 2nd + 11 secs in front of me) think he got to the end of lap 50 before dsc'ing.  


90% of the race is 47.7 Laps, pretty obvious that the PSN crash caused the string of DSC's to start @ Lap 46 though, so it's a case of taking the results from that point, lap 46 or the final result on lap 50.

There wont be a osq & 25% race, it may be full points or half points or could be a re run. Again, i'll discuss it with Marc on Monday & post answers as soon as poss.

I was 6th not 7th

Please bear in mind that AI was set to Very Easy, so those who dsq last would have a huge advantage over those who dsq first, because their AI would loose those who dsq first alot of time and maybe also positions.

If up to me I'd do a rerun. But if that is out of the question, you'll have to use the standings at the time the first one dsq on lap 46....

I don't think another 18 min qualifying & 100% run is reasonable.. We were more or less at the 90% mark

I suppose if there was a safety car 4 or 5 laps before the DSC where everyone is bunched up, then when the DSC started then in my opinion it'd be very sensible to do a full re run

Either half points or full points would be the best option from the options that are available

Probably going to do full points based on the positions at the start of lap 46.

Can everyone who has footage of that point please post it. If you don't have anything showing your position then you're at the whim of other peoples evidence for finishing position.

Sorry CHM, my Lap 46 in Sec 3 is still your Lap 45, Snoop DSC'd on Lap 46 behind Trond, but in front of you, that's why he's 1 place ahead. You didn't pass his AI & become 6th until my Lap 47.

Yes it's all a bit confusing makes it hard to work out.
