1st Match Point - ConnorH1996 Empty 1st Match Point - ConnorH1996

It's well known that AL2 this year has been absolutely FAAAANTASTIC! It's seen 5 different winners, some incredible battles and some majestic qualifying laps. Here in Austin though, ConnorH1996 has got the opportunity to finally clinch a championship that he has been made to work very hard for by rival RosstheIcon.

Will he do it though? To win the title he needs to score 6 points more than Ross despite a controversial 20-second penalty for an incident in AL1. Despite this penalty, the bookies have made him favourite for the victory which would see him home.

The fans are eagerly anticipating another titanic battle between these two, as have been taking place all season, but could an outsider even take the fight to him? It's unlikely that if Flying_Brit returns to form he will do anything to hamper his teammates chances, but should Con hit problems he could spoil the party for Ross as he tries to take advantage. Perhaps the Toro Rossos could get in on the action? They would dearly love to take big points home as they battle Red bull for the constructors' crown.

Tomorrow evening will we have a new champion? Or will we have the mouth watering prospect of a shoot-out in Brazil? All I know is that in Formula 1, anything can happen and it usually does.
