F1 2013 Game

As all of you know the new game will be coming out for the PlayStation 3 sometime at the end of September as I should hope all of you will be getting the game, is anybody planning on not getting the game?

depends on whether it will be on next gen, steve hood has been hinting on twitter it might be.

F1 2013 so far only on current gen consoles ive heard.

as i said, steve hood as been hinting on twitter that it may be on next gen, nothing concrete.. he said something like regarding doing pitstops like they do now in qualy. He said "we dont have the memory to do that, well we didnt untill now "
PS3 and Xbox have virtually no memory left on the disc once the game is complete. so they wouldnt be able to add a feature like that on the current gen consoles even if they wanted too.

PS4 and X1 however would be a different story.

Apparently Codies are releasing the announcement trailer on the 15th. It'll be a day one purchase anyway, for PS3, unless it's on PS4, and I somehow manage to get one in launch.

I'm not quite sure what I'm doing on PS4 yet just too many variables at the moment. At the moment I think I'm planing to get in around Christmas, no not a Christmas noob because I'll be paying most likely unless some of you want to chip in

But I'll be at uni then and maybe still working in hell but not sure yet, for me the PS4 is a wait and see at the moment. For the F1 2013 I will be getting it for PS3.

with this cloud service even if it doesnt come out on the ps4 we still might be able to play it, as you can stream ps3 games from the store to your ps4. I dont have a clue how it would work though

I won't be getting a PS4 anytime soon as with uni and work I'd have hardly anytime for it. Games such as GTA5, GT6 and F1 13 won't be heading to the next gen-consoles as far as we know of yet so for me I don't see the point of a PS4 yet. Will I be getting F1 13? I explained all on another thread on this website.

Gt6 has been confirmed as a next gen title and will be released in 2014

I think I'm in the same predicament with Ferrari Mania, I too have little time as nowadays I normally have one day off from work and I'll be starting uni. in late September so I'm not sure whether to splash out on something I'll hardly use especially when it comes to paying for online.

I'll more than likely get a PS4 at christmas

The ps4 may not even be out in the uk by Christmas the US and Japan get it first and it could get delayed until early next year for UK

Gt6 hasn't been confirmed for PS4. However, it has for the PS3 which will come out sometime over the 'holiday season' according to PD. The GT academy demo is using the GT6 engine and already looks and feels so much better than 5. GT6 appearing on next gen are just rumours. It would make no sense to have the same game on 2 seperate consoles. We've always had 2 GT's per console PS1 had GT and GT2, PS2 had GT3 and GT4 and the PS3 had GT5 and now 6. If you're waiting for a GT for the PS4 I'm certain it will be GT7.

Yes Bolokov, the cost of a new console and games when you don't have much free time for it can be deemed pointless :/ I'm in the same predicament.

the chairman of the person who own poly said he expects the game will come out on ps4 in 2014 but only when its ready it wont be just a port of the game.

Gran Turismo 6 creator Kazunori Yamauch is teasing a PS4 version of the game, again, saying it will appear on the platform “naturally.”

Got some suggestions for the historic calendar not sure what order they should be in but that's up to you to decide

Liam, I read that on GTPlanet last month. Even though there are many articles stating "it may make an appearance on the ps4" "we won't have you waiting long" etc. I don't think it will happen. He said a similar thing about GT4 eventually coming out on the PS3 as they were working on 5 and it never happened. Based from experience on GTPlanet, Kaz's words get misunderstood as he only speaks Japanese with an interpreter translating. You never know, it may very well happen but my opinion is that it won't. Maybe GT7 in 2 years or even late next year for the PS4
