It's highly likely that I will be giving this race a miss too as the standard of driving in my opinion is simply unacceptable for league racing at the minute.

We've gone from virtually no incidents in 2 full seasons to anywhere between 4 and 8 per race. Im not prepared to give up a week to practice to be continually smashed off track each race with no punishments awarded whatsoever.

Feel free to join the FIA team and help deal out relevent punishments.

Simply boycotting races isn't going to change anything and frankly is just as unacceptable as the incidents themselves.

Yes not racing and giving plenty of notice is exactly the same (unacceptable) as driving people off the road on a weekly basis.

How many races do I need to turn up for, get smashed off on the first lap or two, be half a lap behind you all and then be bored senseless racing on my own, all the while providing footage of the incident before something is done about it?

If that's the way you feel, that the fact is i don't want to race at the minute because the racing environment the site is currently providing is frustrating and not what it should be about then by all means take me out of the league. If however you wish to do the right thing and promote good clean wheel to wheel racing that we have enjoyed for the previous 2 full seasons and what this site is named after then as Admin and the FIA sort it out. That's after all what you have signed up for isn't it?

I would happily join FIA to help make decisions but if it's a case that all members need to be in agreement before something is done then I'm afraid it's a waste of time as I havent agreed with 95% of AL2 decisions that have been made so far, I don't take notice of the AL1 decisions so can't comment on them.

I remember Whiteside posting at the start of the season that the decisions made are those that "are best for business". Show me one that takes this statement into account.

Maybe not, it's hardly a solution to the problem though. The people who are causing these incidents are not going to say 'Awh, Pagey isn't racing I better not mess up so he comes back.' If anything it just means they can get more points at your expense.

I totally understand your frustration, hell I agree with you that it's unacceptable at the moment. It is steadily getting better again though.

At the end of the day a small amount of benefit of the doubt has been given to people for being new etc, that grace period is over. Bloodandsands recieved a 2 point penalty from the last race for causing an incident, for example.

That's part of the problem though, there is no FIA to speak of at the moment. Myself, Whiteside and Stevo is simply not enough people to make decisions regarding incidents, I have to stay out of a lot of them due to it potentially effecting me in the long run championship wise.

We need more pairs of eyes and opinions on things, and decisions do not need to be unanimous, only a majority. Not agreeing with the decisions so far isn't a bad thing necessarily either, if you join a meeting and disagreeing with the ruling, say so, offer your take on it, it will be considered openly and discussed and if it's agreed upon, it will be the course of action we take.

Over punishing is a bad as under punishing for 'business'. We are now roughly at the half way point in the season, people have had enouigh time to adjust to 100%, 2014 cars etc, other than taking into account a persons track record with incidents (You, for example over the seasons haven't caused much of anything so that would be taken into account if hypothetically you did cause something.)

This league isn't just Admin's, or mine, or the mods. Everyone here has the right and opportunity to be involved in pretty much all aspects of it, help us, simply complaining about it and doing nothing isn't going to remove the inherent problems that we currently have. We need peope such as yourself, who have experience to be involved. I feel like I'm starting to ramble and repeat myself in this post now, so I'll leave it at that. But please reconsider taking part in the races and getting involved with meetings as a veteran of the site you're a great asset to both.

TL;DR HALP US PLS.
