AL1's Spanish GP - Podium Press Conference
Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the Circuit De Catalunya and the 3 drivers, Michemery, Cameron and Misterflash, who have commandeered the top steps after a very exciting and changing diverse weather which changed peoples startegy like nothing we've seen so far.
Welcome gentlemen, we'll start with you Mich.. Well done on another win to your season.
Q1: Another race where we see you get the 3 achievements in a race, Pole, Win and fastest lap. How are you managing to get it all?
A1: I drive the car fast
Q2: At Russia, you said that Spain is one of your strongest tracks but We saw you make a few little mistakes in that race which gave the win by only a couple of seconds. Were you worried that they might have cost you the race win?
A2: As soon as Calspur got wing damage I eased off which may have let me loose concentration a bit. I was also listening to a podcast while driving as I wasn't pushing.
Now we go to you Cameron, well done on P2.
Q1: This is your 3rd podium this season, and your 2nd in a row. Are you feeling more and more confident with the new cars to be able to push it to the limits?
A1: Yes, the more I race, the more confidence I'm beginning to build, and another podium only helps that, hopefully nI can find a bit more pace.
Q2: During the race, Michemery, made a few little mistakes in the race which gave him a few time penalties, did you feel you might be able to snatch the win from him?
A2: With Mich, only 10 seconds ahead of me I was trying my hardest to go as fast as possible whilst also trying not too get any penalties myself but Mich just had superior pace.
Now we go to you Misterflash, well done to P3.
Q1: So far, you have managed to score some great points at every race, but with the next track being tight and twisting road of Monaco, Do you feel you can carry on your great performance?
A1: In all the races I have done in Monaco in the W2W championships, i have always scored big points. Maybe this time I can even go for the win.
Q2: With the battles between you and Cameron, it has moved you to P2 in drivers table and Cameron to 4th, 20 points behind.. Do you feel that this battle will carry on like it did at the end of S8 and help close the gap to the current championship leader Mich?
A2: I expect the fight with Cameron will go on until the end of the season. I hope that this time I will get the upperhand on him.
Now back to you Mich, for our last question...
Q3: Our next race is at the tight and twisty road track of Monaco, How are you feeling going there?
A3: I love driving there, I want to win. It's a special race, and I think there is a good chance of a Ferrari double podium or 1-2 if Calspur isn't racing.
Thank you gentlemen for joining us again and well done on the top steps of our podium and we'll let you go celebrate with your teams.
Thank you ladies and gentlemen for joining us as well here at the Circuit De Catalunya and we'll see you at the end of what will be an exciting and exhilerating race at the Tight, Twisty hard overtaking track of Monaco.
