AL1's European GP - Podium Press Conference
Hello there ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Baku and what a race we just seen, from 13 drivers to be left with only 2 drivers to finish the race, and here they are: Cameron McMahon and Misterflash.
Well done gentlemen on managing to scrape through those 51 laps and be the only drivers to finish.
We'll start with our race winner Cameron. well done on the race win.
Q1: After a very disappointing race at Canada, we see you come back with a win here at Baku. How does it feel?
A1: Feels great to be on the top step, especially after one stupid mistake when I was leadign in Canada which I feel I had in the bag.
Q2: Both you and Misterflash were the only drivers to finish the but you seem to have the better run with only 2 stops, was it a race strategy to take it easy?
A2: I was pushing as hard as i could whilst keeping an eye on flash, he had great pace but once he made his mistake it was all about focusing and taking it easy and bringing the car home.
Thank you Cameron.
We now come to you Misterflash.
Q1: This result means you have earned points at 7 of the 8 races so far, can you see it continuing?
A1: I really hope i can score points in every race that I participate but the target for the coming races to win a race.
Q2: Well done on P2, we see you 2nd place in the Drivers battle, and with Mich retiring, it means that you actually lead Cameron by 5pts. Are you hoping for it to be a close battle with Cameron again but you ending up on top this season?
A2: I really want to have a straight battle with Cameron this year and I hope to end on top finally.
Thank you Misterflash and well done.
We come back to you Cameron for the final question before we let you go back to your team and celebrate.
Q3: With Mich pulling out due to other commitments, it looks like it will be another battle between you and Misterflash, do you see it being a finish like S8?
A3: I would like to think so however Flash is very quick and we have had some great battles so far this season and last, lots of respect from myself for him and hope it continues.
Thank You Cameron and Misterflash, and well done for getting up here.
And thank you ladies and gentlemen for joining us and hope the race was as good for you like it was for our 2 drivers up her and we'll see you at Spielberg and the Red Bull Ring for our Austrian GP.
