Max Verstappen Gets 2015 F1 Seat

Max who turns 17 at the end of September will race in f1 next season I think this is a huge gamble for Helmet Marko to put him in straight away to formula 1 what do u guys think?

Madness if you ask me.

Though I'm more concerned about Kvyat/Vergne and what happens to whomever gets the boot.

The guys dad, Jos (a former F1 driver) has funded and will continue to support his son until he's at the top... as I'm sure most fathers would want.

Not only is he being funded by his dad but because of his name, not only is he getting more money for his sponsorship deals but more of them as well.

His ability is not only above standard but his growth of learning is extending and at such a young age has bags of potential for a team.

Not only as he the ability but is quite accomplished already; in 2013 he won the highest karting category (World KZ championship) and in this year he scored a podium in his first F3 race.

You have to realize that most teams go for drivers that are in their teenage years to join their young driver programme and he also got an offer from Mercedes to join their programme as well.

Yeah BBC are reporting that it's Vergne leaving so it will be a Kvyat/Verstappen partnership at Torro Rosso. There's obviously some Dutch weed money being funnelled into Torro Rosso next season

They'll be smuggling it around the world in the side pods.
